Velodrom Kranj

Took a few pics, but it was constantly raining. We should definitely arrange a trip to Kranj soon.
We must decide on a date and then ask the Sava Kranj bicycle club for permission (see fourth pic)

Nice. Do you really think they would care if people use it as long as they won't arrange races or break bottles on it? It is not as steep in the curves as the nm one, but still, i'd like to give it a shot one day..

It really looks better if you are there, the pics don't do it any justice. The corners are quite steep, the two straits are just a little tilted. As for the permission, I think that sending them an e-mail won't hurt.

Ofc it can't hurt. But by the looks of it, they don't seem to care about it all that much, except for the one time per year when they have a race finishing there. I mean there are some obvious skidmarks on it that I can only assume is because people broke the rule about motorized vehicles.. And the stones also seems to mean that they have no regular practice there.. Anyway, who will write KK sava and ask if its ok to take a lap or two if you happen to pass by? Any volunteers? And thanks alot for posting the photos, they make me want to go there even more..

I don't have anything to ride with at the moment. so I'm fucked.

Why, what's wrong with the lizzard king?

Bring it on?

Ok. I'm on for getting my ass kicked by you kids.. I'll dig up my 52 teethed chainring for the occasion and be of to a standing-still start. Anyway, I'd suggest 3 lap sprints, classic olympic style.

50-15 is best I think

I'll run a 52-17, cause it's the only set I got besides the 42-17 I drive with now. I tried it a couple of weeks ago, but it's really hard to get going...

48-16 is normal for track, but too heavy for street
