Nooooooooooooooooo!

I am joining the muslauf clan, I hope no one wants a fixie... but I was confident no one is interested in 10 years old grey MTB... I was proven wrong today, someone's desire was stronger than two locks. In 10 minutes it was gone.
This bike was already stolen once, long ago. I locked the bike for 5 minutes in front of library, when I returned... it was there, but the key was forgotten at home... I called my parents to bring me the key and so they did. I went across the road to pick it up... the buss went by... and the bike was gone, but it wasn't the thief's day, he crossed my parents way and they (movie) chased him with a car on the sidewalk... thief surrendered the bike and ran for his life.
I am afraid this time bastards succeeded.

Thank you.

If someone notice this bike, give me a call on 031 339 809 *, and if the rider don't pick up the phone, just kick his ass...

Can I ask which kind of lock you used? N then I'd suggest you take a look around where students hang, n bring a wire cutter..

I had a small but beefy (Masterlock) U-lock to lock the rear disc to frame, and a tiny (surprise) hanging lock for the front disc. I do not believe he could unscrew 12 bolts or cut both locks in 10 minutes... He must have put in a car or just carry it in a cellar nearby. Tire mark of the front tire was visible, so he did not noticed the small lock at first...

What kind of student hanger have you in mind? Študentski dom?

Ok. From what I understand, basically all students in Lj, steal bikes. Though, I doubt they would steal anything that is properly locked or go through the effort of bringing a car, so perhaps a better bet would be bolha, and places like that.

I am on the wach on Bolha, I found a guy in Dravlje, Brilejeva seling to many bikes and scooters for small prices... I called him, and he was like yeah, I have different bikes, with Shimano LX, XT... but I am afraid to visit him.

Just bring a new U-lock with you.. Anyway, maybe check out that magazine of small adds, Can't remember the name. Bike forums often have a buy/sell section, maybe that's worth a look.

Sucks with bike thieves..
